This
is a live feed overlooking a bald eagle nest in
North Central Massachusetts.
This pair of eagles had a successful nesting season. One egg hatched around April 14th. The eaglet was banded on May 20th with a MA State band of D6 and appears to be a female. The eaglet fledged the nest on July 7th and seems to very healthy. Click here to view photographs from this nesting season.
We are gearing up for next year's nesting season. Once the activity has ended at the nest for the season, the Mass Division of Fish and Wildlife has agreed to help to install a cam in the nest. The existing camera will still remain for an overview of the entire nesting site.
We still need more donations to help with this project. Another bank of solar panel will need to be installed, a second set of transmitter/ receivers as well as some misc. hardware. I have been using bandwidth from one of the owners on the lake to broadcast the live stream, but with 2 live streams it might be a bit much for their DSL connection. I am going to approach Comcast to see of they would be willing to donate dedicated line for this project.
For donations of $50.00 or more, I'll send you a 8X10 matted and signed print of the eagle photograph at the bottom of the page that I captured at this nest last year.

If you are viewing a green screen then the cam is
offline for the evening.

The current ones as you can see are on the edge of their range. I am also going to have to purchase more Deep Cell Marine batteries.
